1. Dashboard
The dashboard is really simple and doesn’t contain tons of unnecessary features. On the top, there are some examples to check out the tool’s output quality. This tool can create Interactive demos, step-by-step, and autoplay guides.

2. Create Guide
First, create a general guide with a blank template. Here you can add a title, and description, change the Aspect Ratio, and Hide media files to sort steps easily. I’m using the free account so I’m limited to using some features.
From the customize option we can change page appearance, layout, theme, brand color, marker transparency, setup scrolling guide, text annotations, autoplay, call to action, and feedback.
After this, Click on the pencil icon to add guiding texts with formatting and links. Next, you can upload images or videos.
Add the marker to the media and place it in the right location. Click on the three-dot icon to duplicate steps, edit, remove, or download images, and reset or remove the marker.
Next, if you click on the + icon you will get the options to add steps, headings, tips, alerts, and capture the screen. We can also re-order the steps easily. Now Let’s make a tutorial on How to purchase the Hostinger business hosting plan at a reduced price.
After you have done just click on the Finish button. Then you can see the preview of the tutorial. You can see when the tutorial was created, the total number of steps, and how many people have viewed them.
If you click on The Desktop Icon it will be converted to an interactive demo, which means you can click on the marker to see the next or previous steps. This is an awesome feature.
You can also see the full analytics from this option. As I’m using the free account, I can’t access this feature.
Now let’s create another demo by recording the screen. For this, we have to download the Guide Jar Chrome Extension.
After this click on the Record screen button and select the tab you want to capture. Let’s create a tutorial on how to purchase the Hostinger Premium plan.
It will track every click you make on the screen and will create the guide according to them within a few seconds. It’s very straightforward and very easy to use.
If you want to remove any part just click on the EDIT menu. Here you can add or delete anything. If you play with this tool for a few minutes you will understand the game very easily.
3. Share or Embed on the Website
You can share the tutorial links or embed them on your website to show them to your clients. You can also customize the embed options. Additionally, it allows to export of the demos as PDF files, HTML, or video formats. This is a helpful feature.
4. Team Collaboration & Road Map
We can add 10 to 20 members per team according to our plan. From their roadmap page, we can see the upcoming, planned, and in-progress features. Plus we can also request any features we want to have in the software.

So this is the review of Guidejar. The features they offer are amazing and unique. Yes, it’s worth the money. I will use it if I ever need to create product demonstrations, guides, or tutorials.
